Attorney Profile


Beth Hearn's practice focuses on appellate work in family law. She is Of Counsel to Georganna L. Simpson, P.C., who Beth has worked with since her third year of law school. In addition to drafting appellate briefs and presenting oral arguments at the Texas Courts of Appeals, Beth assists trial attorneys with researching for and drafting trial briefs and motions. Additionally, Beth drafts the monthly Dallas Bar Association Family Law Section's case law updates, which are also included in the Texas Bar Association Family Law Section's quarterly Section Report.

Beth has been the chair of the Dallas Bar Association's Admissions and Membership Committee since 2014 and has served on that committee since 2011. Additionally, Beth volunteers with Legal Line through the Dallas Bar Association and monthly legal aid clinics through Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.

Beth has been practicing family law since graduating from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now known as Texas A&M University School of Law) in 2012. Beth served as an editor on the Texas Wesleyan Law Review,  a legal writing teaching assistant, and a peer mentor. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in 2003, where she focused on management, English, and mathematics. Before attending law school, she managed corporate clients for an information technology company in the financial services industry.
